Modern Built Homes was established in 1999 under the name Double V Construction. Over the years, our founder, Jake Vande Voort, became more specialized in the construction trade and decided to change the name to more accurately describe the company.
Jake has been in the home building industry since 1991. He designs all of his homes from scratch to the exact needs and desires of each specific client. He is a hands-on builder. You will see him on the job site every day – not just overseeing or expediting. Jake and his crew do everything from design, to framing, to roofing and siding. This will give you a great sense of ease and confidence, knowing that your home is being built correctly and efficiently. Jake is continually educating himself with all of the new and modern home building procedures and is always looking for new and more efficient ways to build a home. He is a forward thinker and is open to just about anything when it comes to home construction.
Jake is a member of the Brown County Home Builders’ Association and received a certificate of achievement in blueprinting and estimating. His homes have been featured in the Brown County Showcase of Homes and pictured on HOUZZ.com. Jake is also nominated for the Wisconsin Badger Craftsmanship Award.
Modern Built Homes specializes in exclusive, custom built homes, but can also help you with your renovation, remodeling, and addition needs, incorporating all of his modern ideas into each and every project. We will work anywhere in Wisconsin, but are primarily based in North East Wisconsin.
